Kush Maini secures first podium of the year

The Go-Pro ambassador finishes Race 2 in 3rd place

10 September 2017, Imola: Kush Maini put on a great show at Imola, with an impressive podium in Race 2 and 4th place finish in Race 1. He managed a tight photo finish in the first race of the weekend, claiming the P4 on the final lap of the race. He also had a good qualifying, with a P6 and P2 in the respective sessions. He was also on track to finish close to the top in Race 3, before an accident made him finish in P9.

Round 5 at Imola began with a couple of P9 finishes for Kush in the two practice sessions. He had good pace in the practice, and it showed in the qualifying sessions. A strong P6 followed by a P2. Maini started Race 1 in P6 and kept the pressure on the cars in front to eventually finish P4 in a tight photo-finish. Race 2 however had a late start due to heavy rains, and meant it was a wet race. Kush held his 2nd position for almost the entire race, before losing out with two laps to go. This was Kush's first podium this season.

Excited about his first podium, Kush Maini said, “I'm very happy with my performance here at Imola, this is my first podium this season and i hope to continue this form going forward. I had a lot of good finishes, but a few unfortunate mistakes cost me a few points this weekend. The weather made the races on Sunday quite challenging as well."


The championship now heads to Mugello for Round 6 to be held on October 8th 2017.

Pension Adalat

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001.
